We provide support and treatment for individuals who have been arrested for crimes related to drug and alcohol use.

Staff work in police stations, courts, prisons and the community, providing comprehensive services that promote rehabilitation and prevent re-offending.

Expert to take reins at head of Criminal Justice division

CRI's newly formed Criminal Justice division will be headed by Mike Pattinson, previously the Director of Operations for the South and Wales.

Mike has worked in the probation service and in residential services for offenders and substance misusers for over 20 years. He joined the charity in the 1990s and led the ‘Get It While You Can’ initiative which achieved Home Office recognition and was integrated in to the national Drug Interventions Programme (DIP).

His experience has led him to be a strong advocate of supporting short-term prisoners, extending mentoring support and working to reduce re-offending rates within our communities. With CRI, Mike has worked with offenders and service users to help them become part of our communities and enhance their social capital and opportunities, while continuing to hold them to account for their behaviour and its impact on those same communities.
