2012-07-17 Event
The 4th UK Recovery Walk takes place in Brighton & Hove on 29 September 2012.
The national Recovery Walk celebrates hope and the possibility of recovery through an inspirational walk and afternoon of family activities. This annual event brings together people who are, or who have been, affected by substance and alcohol misuse including their family, friends and loved ones, as well as organisations and services that work to support recovery in all its forms.
Mike Pattinson, Director of Operations, CRI, said: "CRI is proud to sponsor the UK Recovery Walk. Recovery is embedded in all our services and underpins all our work to support people with substance misuse issues on their journey to an independent and healthier life."
More than 1,500 people took part in the 3rd UK Recovery Walk in Cardiff in 2011 and CRI staff and services users from across Brighton & Hove will take part in this year's event.
