"Local volunteers connect services to the communities they serve."
David Royce, Chief Executive
Volunteers work in many of our services. They bring a range of skills that enable us to support more people and provide additional services. There are opportunities for volunteers across the organisation, including on the Board of Trustees and working alongside staff in projects. All our volunteers receive training and are supported to deliver their roles.
Volunteering provides work experience for people interested in a career in social care and also offers an opportunity for people with time on their hands to make a personal contribution to their local community. Whatever the reason, volunteering benefits you, service users and CRI with 95% of our volunteers saying that their personal development in terms of confidence, self-esteem and self-management had increased as a result of the voluntary work they were doing.
You can find out more about volunteering with us from some of our volunteers before viewing and applying for current opportunities.
